He tenido una vida bastante movida, no puedo decir lo contrario, debido a que mi amor por lo desconocido me ha llevado a experimentar cosas que realmente podrían haber borrado toda existencia mía, pero eso no apaciguó la llama de la investigación en mí. Al contrario, la alimento, cada conocimiento nuevo me hacia sentir que necesitaba algo mejor, quería saber la verdad del mundo, poder entenderlo todo, conocer la esencia de la realidad en la que vivimos, en cierto modo era un ser hambriento, pero, ¿acaso hay algún investigador que no lo sea? Mi respuesta es no, todo aquel que persigue el saber, siempre deseará más y mientras más obtienes más necesitas, eso me llevo a convertirme en alguien prominente en los cielos, pero a veces la fama trae la desgracia.
Mi habilidad no tardo en ser reconocida como una de las mejores y Dios me asignó a un nuevo grupo de investigadores, juntó los mejores, todos y cada uno de ellos fueron o eran el pináculo del estudio. Mi primera pregunta fue ¿qué clase de investigación necesitaba a tantas figuras influyentes? Cada vez que esa pregunta aparecía en mi mente hacía a mi sangre hervir de emoción, esto era sin duda lo que llevaba esperando… Todo este grupo fue fundando para la creación de una forma de purificación completa del alma sin dañarla, en un principio para alguien inexperto puede sonar simple, pero es todo lo contrario, eliminar una parte del espíritu es algo fácil, pero convertir una sin alterarla, es un trabajo que incluso Dios no tomaría a la ligera. En términos sencillos, era algo tan difícil que podría causar un par de quebraderos de cabeza a cualquiera que supiera de que trataba todo esto. Pero para gente como yo, solo puedo decir que era un sueño, uno que podía ser casi inalcanzable, sin embargo, a mayor es el obstáculo mejor sabe el superarlo. Me habría gustado poder contarles algo sobre mis descubrimientos y mis experiencias con este nuevo grupo a mi prometido, pero era imposible, todo lo que hacía debía permanecer en el mas estricto secreto.
Llevaba una buena vida, cada día me pasaba la mayor parte del tiempo experimentando y haciendo avaneces sobre la purificación, los cumplidos de dios no eran pocos, el resto del tiempo lo pasaba junto a mi amado, Azazel y mis seres queridos, para cualquiera podría resultar aburrido, pero para mí era lo mejor que me podía pasar. La paz y la felicidad hacen a uno optimista y acabas bajando la guardia, son esos momentos los que la serpiente aprovecha para atacar, entonces es cuando su veneno se vuelve mas amargo que nunca.
Fue aquel día, estaba junto a Rehael, mi mejor amigo, no, mejor dicho, era mi hermano, estábamos hablando sobre distintas cosas, el también era un investigador, solo que su campo era contrario al mio, el uso del mal, si fuéramos a diferenciar algo más, sería que su nivel era mucho menor que el mio. La verdad, si me paro a pensarlo en estos momentos, realmente no era el de siempre, su sonrisa parecía en cierto modo cargada de frustración, pero mi yo en ese momento no se dio cuenta. Posiblemente fuera la confianza y el amor que profesaba hacía el como si se tratara de mi hermano menor, lo que cegó mis ojos ante la oscuridad creciente en su ser.
Sin siquiera ser consciente de ello, había dejando escapar algunos datos sobre mi investigación, no le di demasiado importancia, ya que no pensaba que pudiera causar tantos problemas. El tiempo paso, unos cuantos meses, hacia tiempo que no veía a Rehael y me preocupaba que le hubiera pasado algo, cuando le pregunté a un compañero suyo, dijo que entro en un frenesí y su investigación avanzaba a pasos agigantados, oír esto me hizo soltar un suspiro de alivio, me hacía feliz .
Ese fue el momento en que, sin darme cuenta, la serpiente se había disparado.
Había estado toda una semana en el laboratorio, dado que logré un gran avance, pensé que lo mejor sería volver con Azazel y felicitar a Rehael por sus logros que ya se habían extendido a lo ancho y largo del cielo. Cuando volvía a mi hogar me encontré una escena que me hizo palidecer, había varios ángeles luchando entre si, mi amado estaba allí, solo que sus blancas alas, eran de un color entre negro y grisáceo, el era un guerrero sin igual, noble y poderoso, por lo que todos sus adversarios quedaban reducidos a heridos o muertos. Sin poder aguantar un segundo más, me impulse en el suelo y salí disparada hacia el, quería preguntarle que le pasó, pero antes de que siquiera pudiera reaccionar, su espada ya estaba dibujando una trayectoria hacía mi cuello, si tuviera que decir, como sobreviví, posiblemente fue por que en el fondo de toda esa maldad cubriéndole, el luchaba por mantener su cordura. Una vez esquivé el décimo ataque, habló, sus palabras… no deseo recordarlas, solo puedo contar, que fue entonces cuando antes de que dejará de ser él apuñale su cuerpo, su vida fue extinguida casi en ese mismo instante, al igual que algo dentro de mí.
Pasó el primer día desde lo que sucedió, la culpa creció y brotó de cada parte mi, como un veneno que se extendía cubriendo el resto de lo que soy… quería perdonarme, pero no podía, no había forma, no… quería recuperarlo. Fue este amargo sentimiento lo que me llevó a cometer el error que cambiaría mi vida completamente.
Tenía que devolverle la vida, para ello solo había un ápice de esperanza y ese era la creación de un alma artificial capaz de asimilar otras y obtener las claves de salomón para llamar el alma fragmentada de Azazel, aunque eran simples rumores, mis conocimientos me permitían ver que la creación de esa alma eran totalmente posible y que igual funcionaria, mientras que si las claves de salomón tuviesen esa habilidad, no lo sabía, pero las posibilidades no eran 0, merecía la pena intentarlo. Sin embargo, no eran pocos los peligros de crear un alma artificial, por lo que con el pretexto de seguir mis investigaciones pedí grandes cantidades de recursos, que necesitaría para llevarlo acabo, mientras que a su vez buscaba en textos antiguos sobre esas claves de salomón.
En unos pocos meses pude hacerme con los grimorios, si bien no fue una obtención «limpia», eso era completamente irrelevante, solo faltaba la creación de aquella cosa que podría darle una vuelta completa a lo planteado sobre el espíritu hasta el momento. Dios observaba mis movimientos, también sabía que su paciencia no sería eterna y que depende de la velocidad con la que actuase, podría lograr mi meta, por desgracia, no siempre sale todo bien, incluso cuando todo esta perfecto, los fallos solo florecen en el último momento.
El ritual iba perfectamente, el ánima de Azazel se iba juntando lentamente, mientras que la energía convergía lentamente en una especie de bola llameante, un espíritu artificial, todos mis cálculos eran perfectos…Solo olvide un factor, ¿acaso ese alma artificial se dejaría controlar? No, antes de que siquiera pudiera actuar, la energía alrededor se volvió inestable y estaba siendo succionada rápidamente por mi creación, solo en unos segundos esa esfera traslucida parecía haberse vuelto algo físico y a su vez una sensación de peligro se extendió por todo mi cuerpo. Como si ese nuevo ser intentara declarar su llegada al mundo, soltó un estruendoso rugido, la energía en toda la zona era un caos, los ángeles alertados cogieron sus armas y corrieron a donde yo estaba, pero eso no me importaba, sentía que si seguía el ritual para traer los fragmentos de Azazel, este sería devorado y no habría forma de traerlo de nuevo, haciendo caso omiso al dolor, deshice el rito y su alma se fue de nuevo.
El ejercito de ángeles llego y me alejaron del lugar a medida que luchaban por parar a la criatura que evolucionaba a cada segundo, fue entonces cuando Dios hizo su movimiento, el espacio se agrietó y el monstruo fue borrado. Quizá si Dios no lo hubiese hecho el cielo ya no existiría y esa bestia se habría vuelto invencible, pero no podía importarme menos, ya que la esperanza que sostenía mi afligido ser se desmoronaba a piezas.
No pude librarme del castigo, mis actos fueron mas allá de lo aceptable y era obvio que serían penados con dureza, me exiliaron, ya no volvería a ver el lugar donde estuve viviendo toda mi vida.
